Quarters
A few weeks back, Alan, Ashbocker, and I went to see X-Men Origins. (Every time I try to say that, it comes out as X-Men Oranges.) Shannon needed to take her ipod to that one place to get it fixed, so we went to the gateway! The movie was AWESOME except for you totally see Wolverine's butt. . yikes. . . I mean that guy is SO hairy. Anyway, after the movie we passed this little kiosk that had a ton of those quarter machines on it. One of them had these tiny squishy little animals in it and Alan went CRAZY!! I've never seen him get quite so impulsive. I think we got like, three dollars worth, and then we went to the ipod store. While Shannon was getting her ipod fixed, Alan and I were sitting on those squishy poufs playing KidPix and drawing pictures and we got to laughing SO hard about something that I can't even remember! After laughing so incredibly hard, Alan goes, "Oh man. . . we really need quarters. ." Whish in turn, made us start to laugh again! (Another time in which I almost peed my pants from laughing so hard.) Shannon kept throwing us dirty looks because apparantly we were "embarrassing her" lol! So her ipod is fixed and we walk to the car while playing with these squishy animals and Alan realizes that there are probably more quarters in the car. . So we all went to the car, scrounged for quarters, then went running to the quarter machines!! (We left Shannon in the car lol!!) (For those of you who are confused, whenever I refer to Shannon, I mean Shannon Ashbocker. I'm not a weirdie who talks in 3rd person.) I tripped a tiny bit on the way back and Alan and I were out of control laughing again. We put them all on the dashboard of Shannon's car and took a picture. The funny thing is. . we were so obsessed with getting those squishy animals, and now I don't even know where they are . . he he :)

school...
So here I am sitting in communications. It is pretty much dumb because the laptops we are using are MacBooks, and I am pretty much incompetent when it comes to Macs... I have many complaints: the mouse thing has no left click (you have to press control and THEN click, which is lame) and also it doesn't have the nice scroll thing, you actually have to go to the far right of the screen and click like a million times when you're scrolling the page. Also they keyboard is funny looking and some of the keys are missing... WHERE ARE YOU BACKSPACE!?!?!
We are supposed to be working on our speeches (due next week) which I haven't even started yet... I am not even sure what topic I'm going to do it on... Maybe snakes... or turtles, because then I could bring Yoshi as an example! I guess it's a good thing that I got stuck presenting on the last day because I have NO intentions of starting on the whole stupid thing anytime soon. HA! I have been totally slacking off in all my classes lately because I've been studying (and you can't spell STUDYING without DYING) for the AP US History test (which is this Friday... ) Ohhhh well!! I guess I will just start being a good student again next week. My life is going to be so much easier after this test is over.
I decided that I am excited for Arts Fest! I hope all my teachers let me go. The only one that might not is Mr. Bob-The-Builder (aka: Hokanson) but as I'm writing this I think that he will because I just remembered that he is a ceramics teacher too besides a sucky math teacher so I will probably get to go all day! Woot!
So Dustyn is in my class. And she is making me laugh! Anyways she just told me that in Ireland, "waffle" is the same as BS here! So if you were in Ireland and wanted to say: "I'm just going to BS that assignment." you woud say "I'm just going to waffle that assignment, laddy!" That is going to be my new wordd!!! :D
And also, me and Shannon still need to bring back the Ross way of flipping someone off! (to the tune of Sexyback) "I'm bringin' this thing back, YEAH!"

The Legend of Zelda: the complete animated series
Today, Alan and I went to Jared's! "It can only be jarrrEEEEEDDD!!!" And I got a job application! Hopefully, after sending in hundreds of applications all over the valley, these people will be smart enough to hire me. :) Anywho, after getting my thing, we went to starbucks as usual.
yesh, and now i still shmell like coffeeee! hee hee! we also watched this 1989 animated series for The Legend of Zelda. Hahahahah it was kinda funny. all of the colors kept changing and Link's head got bigger when said "I'll do anything for you Zelda!" *widening head* . . . . .
Also, Link was a total horn-dog and kept trying to get Zelda to kiss him. It made me sad because that's not the Link I know and love . . . Before and after the cartoon started, there was this HILARIOUS Mario thing!! It was of these two real-life fat guys dressed as Mario and Luigi dancing around and singing and I almost peed my pants. . . yikes . . That's when I realized that there is an old Mario cartoon show, too!! The sad thing about the Legend of Zelda one is that there are only three discs and it says on the cover "The complete series!" I guess it didn't too well . . .
heh heh! Lets give you a bit of an excerpt from the back cover. . .
"The animated series The Legend of Zelda debuted in 1989 on Fridays during the Super Mario Brothers Super Show! week daily broadcast. It originally aired in conjunction with the first Legend of Zelda game release and breathes life into the characters of Link, Zelda, and the evil wizard, Ganon-- fleshing out their personalities with a little bit of romance and a DASH of humor!"
BAH ha ha ha ha! I'm pretty sure that this was really funny. . . MOBLINS!!
This show saddened me a little bit. . . I never thought Link was that loud and obnoxious. His catchphrase was, "Well exCUUUUUUUUUse ME, Princess!" After four times, it got a little annoying.
yesh. . . Also, Zelda had REEEALLY poofy hair. Like really really poofy. *POOF* And Ganon was a pig. . . Is that right!? Shannon has just informed meh that it is. . . heh heh heh. . .
I feel bad for the person who was Ganon's voice. That must really hurt to talk like that for a while. Maybe THAT'S why the show only has three known discs in existance. Either that, or the guy just has a really scary voice in real-life. . SMOKER VOICE!!
I'm not exactly sure if I'm using a consistent color of blue for my text. . . ooooh well! Oh yeah! And this one time, Zelda was using a bow, but no arrows!!! What's up with that!?! >>----->
Do the Mario!!

Quote of the Day!
Haha! Oh man, good times a weight lifting! So you probably want to hear the story behind this, right? Alrighty then, so our school is on block schedule and swimming is my first period. So on b-days, we (the swim team) go to the school at like 6:00 to lift weights. (Yes 6:00AM, I know! It's freakin' early!!) Needless to say we're all a bit loopy and sleep deprived.
So today at weight lifting Mallori was trying to do some pull-ups. Trying is the key word there.
After numerous failed attempts, she mused to the group:
"If I had a longer neck, I could get my chin over the bar..."
"Maybe if you were a giraffe...." Which was followed by the oh-so-famous quote of the day...
"If I was a giraffe, I wouldn't have to do pull-ups!"

Ahhh... The many adventure of art class!
So Alan and I are in this art class for Salt Lake Community College and it's pretty awesome. Well, the CLASS isn't, but being in there with Alan is freakin' sweet. We listen to his ipod while we're drawing old ladies and other random crap like that and make up dance moves for certain songs. Our all time favorite dance is "The Shake It Dance". You know that song by Metro Station? You know... Shake It? haha Well I'm not even going to TRY to explain how you do the dance, but let me tell you, it's hilarious.
Another great thing about art is we can pretty much do whatever we want. We like to wedge the huge ruler between our desks and fling stuff at people, but it mainly hits Maggie and then we feel bad! HAHA! Also, another cool thing we do with the ruler is cover one side in cool designs in multi-colored puff paints, then press it side down on a piece of paper. You have to pull it off at an angle, but if you do, it looks so COOL!! Wow... we are so awesome...
So the other day in art, I was trying to get Alan to remember this one time when I tried to turn and face him really fast and accidentally hit his shoulder with my face lol. So I was like, "Alan! Remember that one time that I hit my face on your shoulder?" We had a good laugh and returned to our ipod dance moves. Then I turned to face him really fast and hit my face on his shoulder!! HAHA! Totally unplanned and everything and it HURT!! But I was laughing so hard I didn't even care! And so was he, so it was pretty awesome. That was yet another time that I almost peed my pants at school. Anyway, I'll post a funny picture to go with this post soon!
Until next time! Alan, it's YOUR turn now! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D<3>

Candy Shop Windows
My family and I were on a trip to Yellowstone, when we visited an old west type ghost town called Virginia City (or was is Nevada City? I forget, we did visit both though... At one of them we got to pan for gold! It was pretty awesome!)
Anyways there was an old fashioned candy shop there, as part of the town. We had just finished walking through it, when the candy people started making a batch of cinnamon taffy right in the display window! Well, I guess they weren't really making it but they were cutting up the big blob of taffy and wraping in in little papers, but it was pretty cool nontheless.
As we were enjoying the smell of fresh taffy and watching the inner working of the taffy wraping buisness, I found myself going in for a closer look and... BONK! I totally smacked my head on the window! The people inside tried not to laugh, but how do you not laugh at that? Outside, me and the fam were cracking up! Before we left, the workers came out and gave us some free samples of the cinnamon taffy they were wraping.
Good times! :)

CRAYONS!!
Today, Alan and I made crayons!! Yep, real crayons!! We made a ton, but most of them didn't turn out very cool, so pretty soon, we decided to make some poo colored ones. There was this one that we took out of the mold and it was still hot, so we made it a curly poo crayon!! I insist that they are pronounced "cran" but Alan doesn't seem to agree with me. Which is lame, since I'm totally right.
Yep, crayons are cool! That's right, crayons, not crens, crans, or crowns... CRAYONS!!! By the way, the poo crayons looked very realistic!
And don't think we are lame for making crayons on a saturday. Only people who are truly confident in their popularity (lol right.) can do something so lame and make it look cool.
Haha! We're cool! :) And we ate cashews!
and we made a cucumber maaaaan!!
